The deadline for submissions is March 28, 2026. The board of the European TRIZ Campus will decide on the award of the prize in the following week. You will receive feedback by April 30, 2026, on who has been nominated as the prize winner.

As a token of our appreciation, we will treat the winner to two nights’ accommodation and participation in the TRIZ User Day. At the general meeting, a prize certificate will be awarded and the student will receive a small gift. The student’s work should be made available to conference participants in a poster presentation and/or a presentation. Pin boards will be available for this purpose.

I-TRIZ (Ideation-TRIZ) uses a slightly different sorting method based on the research of Boris Zlotin and Alla Zusman. Ideation also recognizes other directions for resolving physical contradictions besides space and time, which do not entirely coincide with those of Simon Litvin. The classification is described in the books on MATRIX2003 and MATRIX2010. You can now select the sorting option “Physical Contradictions (Zlotin/Zusman)” in the app.

A new feature is the option to display the strongest principles regardless of contradictions (frequency of use), which are used by Pavel Livotov and Vladimir Petrov in their publications.

The database now contains 570 examples, and we are continuing to revise the examples and the images accompanying them. The examples were compiled together with students from various universities and are sometimes only line drawings. We are endeavoring to gradually replace these with better images.

The app is available in German and English. Depending on the language setting on your phone, the app will use either German (if German is set) or English (if any other language is set).

We have also changed the naming of the versions: The version number is now always the year, and the second number is the version within that year.
